Today's adventure:
I am scheduled to see the dentist this morning at 11:00 for removal of a couple of crowns that contain metal. If these were present during radiation, they could greatly increase the severity of my mouth soreness.
Of course, we have all prayed that radiation will not have to start on this rapid timetable, and I do not believe it will, but as my mother eloquently reminded me this morning ... even Abraham had to get the wood ready.

Just learned of your cancer a couple of days ago. Have read your blogs and I am glad that you are placing your trust in God. I will pray for your healing, for His comfort during treatments, and for guidance for your doctors.

Daniel! Hi friend! Just wanted to tell you hi and that I miss you! I love your humor through all of this and your precious family! Give Emma a hug from the Lee family. Maybe sometime soon, Samantha, Mom and I can come to Livingston for lunch and visit! or we could come on the weekend and bring Brad if he is lucky! Please give your sweet Mom a hug from me! Daniel, I do hope the trip to the dentist was not too hard on you today. Your Mom sounds like my kind of gal!! We all have to "get the wood" ready at times. Better to have it ready and NOT need than not having it ready at all. I needed to read your last line today.. " Trust HIM with your lives- every little part". You continue to minister to all of us through your trials and that is so amazing to me. Sometimes I think we all tend to think the "little" things are not as important. But little things combined together make bigger things! Thank you for being so steadfast. Keep strong in the faith and remember Isaiah 40:31.
